Super 8 by Wyndham San Marcos

The hotel's cost-effectiveness and convenient location near dining options are its primary draws, making it a practical choice for value-conscious travelers and those seeking a quick stay. Despite some positive mentions of comfortable beds and friendly staff, a significant number of guests report severe issues with cleanliness, particularly the pervasive presence of pests like roaches and bed bugs, and widespread poor room maintenance. Many also highlight problematic management interactions and unexpected security deposit requirements. This establishment appears to cater primarily to road crews and construction labor looking for basic accommodations. To enhance your stay, it is highly advisable to confirm all charges and policies, especially regarding deposits and pet fees, prior to arrival. Additionally, guests should thoroughly inspect their assigned room upon check-in for any cleanliness or maintenance issues to avoid potential disputes.
