Baymont by Wyndham Ferndale/Royal Oak

This hotel is best suited for budget travelers seeking a no-frills stay, though it presents a challenging environment. The property's location is frequently cited as undesirable, with guests feeling the surrounding area is unsafe, particularly at night. The hotel struggles significantly with basic maintenance, as essential amenities like televisions and hot water are often non-functional, and rooms frequently lack cleanliness, featuring stained sheets and unpleasant odors. While some guests have noted friendly individuals at the front desk, overall service is inconsistent, with reports of unhelpful or even aggressive behavior. For those prioritizing a quiet and secure stay, it is advisable to consider other options.
