ANSA Hotel Kuala Lumpur (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)

The Ansi KL is very much in the heart of the city, and it seems it was mostly due to this fact that guests chose it. They describe it as the perfect location for shopping, but with tourist sites, like the Petronas Towers also within walking distance. Especially mentioned was the massive Pavilion Shopping Centre, which was said to be just a couple of minutes walk away.

While guests did seem to have a few issues with the hotel, many went on to add that their room rate was quite low, and they were grateful to get a very central room at those sorts of rates.

While no guests raved about the décor, a few did mention that it was, at the very least, inoffensive. The design is very neutral, and while certainly wowing no one, it also did not offend.

The Ansi KL has opted for the very trendy frosted glass bathroom walls, and in fact places the bathroom sink almost on he middle of the room. Guests conceded that all this does look very good, but many were uncomfortable with the lack of privacy it entailed.

While not mentioned often, a couple of guests pointed out that the standards rooms were very small indeed, having space for little else other than the bed. They seemed in two minds as to whether the central location justified the smallness of the rooms.

The hotel is very much a city hotel that relies on its location, and has very few public facilities of any kind. Some guests felt that it had been awarded a star rating too high for what it was.
